Over this past summer, the swim team was welcomed with great news: their new swim coach for the 2025-2026 season would be Jodi Sagle. Sagle has two kids on the swim team: Mathew Sagle ‘26 and Natalie Sagle ‘28. Sagle has more than 25 years of coaching experience. She has coached at three other schools: Gilmour Academy in Cleveland, Ohio, Westerville Central High School and Olentangy Liberty High School. The swim coach pool in our area is sparse, so when the school needed a new swim coach, Sagle was more than excited to dive right in.

“Currently, it is a challenge finding swim coaches in our area, and I am glad that I can fill the need when it presented itself,” Sagle said.

With the swim season underway, swimmers find themselves excited to meet the new coach and see what this season has to offer.

“ I think you might see some changes in the way people swim by getting feedback from a new source,” Claire Weimer ‘28 said.

As the team looks forward to a new season and a new coach, Sagle wants everyone to know one thing: she is excited to be part of the Braves staff.
