Senior prepares for der dutchman

The fall season comes to an end, and Olentangy High School plans the senior Thanksgiving  The senior thanksgiving will be in Aux Gym on November 21, 2025.

“I just love the opportunity to have the kids all come together and share and experience and enjoy this wonderful meal and to spend time together,” said Erin Centa.

Mrs. Centa has organized the senior Thanksgiving for 15 years now. She is an English teacher and teaches honors 10, AP Lang, and two elective classes. Mrs. Hamilton and he will both plan the senior Thanksgiving this year. She enjoys giving students the opportunity to plan and come up with ideas they can use for the event.

“I am so excited for der dutchman because it will bring the entire senior class together, and we can all do something fun before we go our separate ways,” said Sophia Segelhorst.

Segelhorst is a senior and will attend Senior Thanksgiving this year. She is excited to hang out with friends and, overall, have an event for seniors to become close with one another. As well as eat the food and try it out.

This event is meant to bring seniors together and create a strong bond with others. Senior Thanksgiving is a regular tradition the school puts on for its seniors every year.

“I am excited to celebrate Thanksgiving with my friends and be a part of another senior tradition,” said Hayden Tibbals.

She is another senior and will also attend Senior Thanksgiving. Tibbals wants to enjoy time with friends at a fun school event. She wants to take part in a regular tradition among seniors because she enjoys attending school events.

Seniors enjoy this tradition and look forward to the memories they will create and to stronger bonds with one another.
