You should go and love yourself…

Life is hard. Sometimes, it’s really hard. We all have our cringe moments and ones we’re not proud of. In today’s photoshopped and social media-obsessed society, comparing yourself to others is easier than ever. It’s time to rid ourselves of  negativity. It’s time to amp your self-confidence and start loving yourself in a way even Justin Beiber would be proud of.  

Step 1: Remove all negative vibes.

People, movies, songs, social media accounts, literally anything that brings you sadness: cut it out of your life.

Step 2: Make a list of everything you appreciate about yourself.

Maybe it’s your eyes, your intelligence or your kindness. Consult this list during times of sadness as a quick pick-me-up to get you out of awful moods.

Step 3: Clean out your life.

Go through your closet, underneath your bed, through your junk drawer and get rid of all your clutter. It will only weigh you down.

Step 4: Treat yo’ self. 

Eat all your favorite foods, listen to the best music and go on a shopping spree. In the end, you have to look out for yourself because there is no guarantee anybody else will.

Step 5: Stop putting yourself down.

Seriously, that’s the worst. All those little insecurities, self-doubt and negative thoughts need to go as soon as possible. Loving yourself isn’t going to happen if you don’t like yourself first.
