On Mar. 6, pop icon Harry Styles released an 80s funk album that shocked the world. As a Harry Styles lover, I was beyond excited for this new album, but as a music fan, I was nervous for what Styles had in store. But the album turned out to be the perfect fun-and-funky album we need this summer.

“Aperture” –  This song was released as a single earlier this year. “Aperture” is the longest song on the album, but it’s also one of my favorites. After I listened to the song, I felt so moved. I know a lot of people thought the song was weird, but I loved it. It had this great message on being yourself and joy, accompanied by a killer beat.

“Ready, Steady, Go!” – Yes, this song is a bit… well, freaky. I loved the song, but the song was a bit of a message. The best part of the song was the beat. With such a fun beat, the song is perfect for a good workout or dance sensation.

“Are You Listening Yet?” – This song is just a chef’s kiss. Like, I adore everything about this song. It’s got a great message and connects with a lot of people. Talking about following a message, but not truly understanding it. I ran to this song, and it was a magical moment. The way the song builds and drops is so beautiful.

Overall, this album shows that Styles is more than a hot pop guy. It shows his ability to keep a beautiful pace while balancing hard-hitting lyrics. For me, “Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally” is a 9 out of 10. I have no major issues with the album, but it’s hard to be a 10 out of 10.
