“Zootopia 2” is a kid-friendly, adventurous and funny film. The movie earned a 7.7/10 movie rating. Fox detective, Nick Wilde, and bunny cop, Judy Hopps, return to investigate a new citywide mystery after a suspicious snake disturbs Zootopia’s peace. The movie combines a bright animation with humor all while adding on the charm from the original movie. It provided entertainment, surprise and an adventurous turn as Judy and Nick explore new parts of their city. Overall it’s a fun, heartfelt sequel which makes the audience laugh and engage for the entire movie.
“Sidelined Intercepted”
“Sidelined Intercepted” is a PG-13 romantic comedy with a sports-drama twist. It stars Noah Beck as Drayton Lahey, Siena Agudong as “Dallas Bryan and Charlie Gillespie as “Skyler” The movie centers on a rising football player whose career is abruptly stopped, forcing him to reconsider himself off the field. Charlotte is a student physical therapist who became the love interest of the football player. Skyler is the owner of the coffee shop Dallas works at and creates a dynamic love triangle that adds tension and charm to the movie. The film keeps the audience engaged from the beginning to the end with its mix of romance, comedy and sports drama. It’s an unforgettable story about friendship, love, and discovering oneself’s capabilities when life takes an unexpected turn.
“Eternity”
“Eternity” A24’s newest rom-com is a star studded cast which tackles the deep thought of who would you spend eternity with. The film has the 90’s grain of iconic rom-coms, while they lean into beautiful color theory. The film follows a love triangle as they figure out how to spend their eternities. Joan (Elisabeth Olsen) and Larry (Miles Teller) have been married for over 60 years, until Larry passes away. Not long after, Joan joins him in the in-between station. While it seems to be a simple choice to spend eternity with Larry, Joan learns Luke (Callum Turner) her first husband is still there. Luke had waited 67 years in hope for her to come back to him. Joan has to tackle her emotions of who she will spend forever with: the man she had a family with or her first (very hot) love.
The film has scored a 91% audience rating, as thousands of people rate the movie enjoyable. With a decent box office opening weekend, the movie is the perfect choice for a girls night out. But bring the tissues as there will not be a dry eye in the theater.
