Braves Kickoff for Tournament
Come support the Braves at their first tournament game against Mount Vernon tonight at home, 7 p.m.
With the 2022 regular season coming to an end, the start of the tournament begins with the boys soccer team seeded No. 1 in their bracket.
This tournament season will be important for the upperclassmen who remember the quick loss last season in the second round. As well as newer varsity players.
“There is still a lot of work to do, but this has been a great experience for me and we’re ready to compete,” midfielder Sawyer Wilbanks ‘25 said.
With a regular season record of 12-1-3, the players and coaches feel confident they will see it to the end this year.
“We believe we have the team to bring Olentangy High School its first boys soccer district title since fall 2002,” Coach Hamrick said.

I did not know that tournaments were that hard to qualify for… It is much more difficult than I thought! It must be a gigantic achievement to win a tournament!
