It is almost the end of the first quarter, and it is the freshman’s first quarter of high school. The freshmen this year will graduate in the class of 2028. Let’s see what the freshmen are up to after school.
“Making the high school soccer team and having fun at the football games has been my favorite part so far,” freshman Sophie Budzina said.
Freshmen have been excited about the opportunity to be in the student section at football games this year and to have the chance to play sports for the school. Freshmen have also been excited for elective classes and the extra freedom they have over their class selection.
“I’m looking forward to my next semester classes,” freshman Rebecca Burchfield said.
The freshmen this year are ready for the winter and spring sports to play for the teams and to attend the games.
“I use a pop-psychology quiz to teach symbolism, and the answers this year were pretty funny. A few students came up with really clever and interesting answers that made me laugh out loud (something I don’t often do–usually I just smile),” freshman English teacher, Micheal Myers said.
This year the teachers think the freshmen are extra social than in past years and work well together no matter what groups they are in. Teachers also think they are polite and up for any challenge. Good luck to the freshmen this year and let’s help them have a great year!
