There are numerous activities to partake in this time of the year, and here are a couple perfect activities to do with your friends and family.

Festive photos, hayrides and pumpkin patches are all fun ideas to add to your fall outings. Hayrides provide a calm experience, while you sit and look at sceneries of colorful leaves is so much fun. There are many pumpkin patches around Ohio, some include Pigeon Roost Farm and Leeds Farm. Pigeon Roost Farm is in Licking County just about an hour from Olentangy High School. Leeds Farm is a little bit closer in Delaware County which is about 27 minutes from the school. Take photos to document your day and make a festive post on social media or add it to your scrapbook.

Pumpkins are a flavorsome food, but they are even more fun to decorate. Host a contest to see which one of your friends can carve the best design or find a cool pattern online to try and display it on your front porch. You can find pumpkins at a patch nearby, or even your local grocery store. Apple orchards are an activity which is peaceful and tasty. You can make so many different kinds of apple fun treats which include caramel apples, apple pie and apple crisp. Michell’s Berries & Blooms is in Union County and is about a 30-minute drive from Olentangy High School. 

Are you into jump scares and for your heart to race from fear? Ohio is filled with some intense houses; they will scare your socks off. Some of the best rated are Fear Columbus, which is about 27 minutes away, and Haunted Hoochie, which is about 50 minutes away. One marvelous house is Zombiezi Bay. You can find Zombiezi Bay in Delaware County at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium’s partner waterpark, Zoombezi Bay, which is a little under 25 minutes away. Ohio has a wide range of haunted houses, and there is a level of fear for each person in your family or friend group to enjoy.

Next, one of the best aspects of fall: the food. Treats and delicious meals add to the fall spirit every year. Starbucks has a wide variety of autumn drinks and treats. Some of their best known is their Pumpkin Spice Latte and Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai. Starbucks has locations all around Delaware County and the rest of Ohio. In addition to this, all bakeries across the state will have fun treats to add to the season. Make sure you stop by and try them.
