On August 23, 2024, Sabrina Carpenter released her new album “Short n’ Sweet”. This album was anticipated ever since its initial announcement on June 3, 2024. This is Carpenter’s sixth studio album, which includes 12 songs and three music videos. 

Before the full album release, Carpenter released “Espresso” and “Please Please Please.” Also released with the songs were two music videos. “Espresso” was released as a single on April 11, 2024, which intrigued a lot of people for the full album because of the upbeat tone and lyrical songs. The music video took place on the beach with a summer vibe. Two months later, Carpenter released the “Please Please Please” music video. The video starred well-known actor Barry Keogan. The song strikes people’s interest in what the rest of the album will be like. Carpenter’s pre-released songs gave her the promotion she needed for the full re-release. 

After many months, the anticipated album was released with 10 new additional songs and one music video for her song “Taste.” The video featured well-known actor Jenna Ortega and brought a lot of attention towards the album. Overall, the album is well appreciated and enjoyed around the world. There are many upbeat songs with enjoyable lyrics and vocals. The songs flow well together and have Carpenter’s energy throughout. Given these highlights, I rate her new album 4.5/5 espressos.
