First Watch and Scramblers are popular breakfast places in Ohio. We went to both and reviewed the food and the atmosphere. 

First Watch opened in 2024, hence the warm and modern look of the inside. The service was quick, but we were not rushed. It was a calm experience; the music was pleasant and fit the restaurant’s vibe. 

We had both got the Blazing Dragon drink. We were refreshed, the drink was fun to drink and there were pieces of dragon fruit on top, which gave it a pleasant look. 

Next, we ordered the Million-Dollar Bacon for an appetizer, and both of us would describe it as sweet and savory at the same time. It was coated in maple syrup, cayenne pepper and the brown sugar gave it a delightful taste. 

For our main meals, we ordered the Floridian French Toast and The Works Omelet. The French toast was fluffy; it smelled and tasted fresh. It was loaded with strawberries, bananas, kiwis and cinnamon sugar powdered sugar. 

In addition, on the side, there was a saucer of jam to add to the delectable flavor of the French toast. The omelet was delightful, stuffed with ham, bacon and sausage for protein. Cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese were melted between the walls of the omelet and topped with a dollop of sour cream. It was easy to eat and filled our stomachs. 

We had an exceptional experience.

The next restaurant, Scrambler’s, is where people go to breakfast because of its welcoming feeling. The service was impressive and did not feel long at all. The menu has a wide range of drinks to choose from. 

A common order is hot chocolate, apple juice or just plain coffee. On the other hand, Scrambler’s also has plenty of meal options. From pancakes to omelets, to breakfast sandwiches. They even offer different types of add-ins to pancakes to suit your taste. 

Aside from the main courses, there is also a variety of sides you can choose from which add to the deliciousness of your meal. Options include fresh fruit, hash browns, potato chunks and yogurt. All are enjoyable choices. 

The overall experience at Scrambler’s makes you feel right at home as you indulge in a delicious meal. 

A personal favorite here is the stuffed French toast. It is your everyday French toast but with the seasonal cream cheese flavor stuffed inside to create a sweet, fluffy, stuffed French toast to enjoy. The hot chocolate, bottomless chocolate chip pancakes and bacon are a few of our favorite choices. 

Scramblers is a wonderful place to eat with friends or family for a quick breakfast or brunch.
