New vacation spots for summer of 2021
- Astoria, Oregon- What better way to spend your summer vacation than to spend it at the beautiful and nostalgic Astoria, Oregon. Here visitors are able to take a gander at the Columbia River, where the ‘80s cult classic film, “Goonies,” was shot. Astonia is surrounded by fresh seafood from places such as South Bay Wild Fish House, named after the family owned vessel of the same name.
- Myrtle Beach, South Carolina- Here at Myrtle Beach, the boardwalk is jam packed with activities for teens and young adults. Enjoy such features as a carnival-like atmosphere with souvenir shops, arcades and rides like the 187-foot-tall Myrtle beach Sky Wheel. Most of the area around Myrtle beach is covered with mini golf courses that let children under 16 play for free. Courses are found just about everywhere you look.
- Orlando, Florida- Why not go on a classic family vacation and visit Orlando’s one of a kind amusement parks such as, Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, Seaworld and more. For those cautious about Covid regulations, no need to worry, the parks have taken many precautions so families can have a safe enjoyable visit to the parks.
- California- Get away and soak up the sun this summer. What better spot to visit than California, with endless beaches and great food. Or, maybe even venture north to San Francisco and take a drive over the Golden Gate Bridge. The drive from San Francisco to Los Angeles on the Pacific Coast Highway is one of the most scenic road trips in the country, according to StudentUniverse.
- New Zealand- This snow-capped mountain destination is a must visit for seniors in need of a graduation trip idea. Explore the Abel Tasman National Park with beautiful beaches and the azure water which feel like it belongs in the tropics instead of New Zealand. Extreme sports is another fan favorite activity here in New Zealand. There are a bunch of activities such as being able to skydive basically anywhere; shotover jets, ziplines, bungy jump areas, caves, transalpine hikes and much more according to Nomadic Matt.com.

I think these destination spots are all perfect if you’re with friends or deciding to be alone just to take time to yourself.

I respect the article and I do very much like the article, and it is a very good article.
However, it includes California as a vacation destination.
I feel like the article could be way better if it didn’t include California, it would be awesome!
