Goodbye Exam Stress
With exams right around the corner and your stress levels at an all-time high, everyday activities become impossible. The pile-on of studying and homework, and the stress of the upcoming holiday break is not helping. “Just two more weeks and then holiday break,” you find yourself saying on the daily just to get through the next few weeks of school. Here are some how to’s to get through exam week stress free.
Log off
According to Everydayhealth.com, scientist have found social media, more specifically smartphones, increase stress. Log off for a few days, even reducing the time spent on your phone will make you happier and less stressed.

Eating dark chocolate can help you reduce your stress hormones, lowers blood pressure and cholesterol.
Get plenty of Omega 3-fatty acids
According to adaa.org, avocado is the most common omega 3, you can find it at any supermarket. Avocado helps lower depression and anxiety. Flaxseeds or flaxseed oil, chia seeds and walnuts are also other options if you’re not a fan of avocado or fish, such as tuna, salmon, herring and sardines.
Exercise
According to adaa.org, “While the more obvious benefits of exercising is better physical shape, it also releases endorphins— a chemical in your brain that is a natural painkiller, which makes you happy and improves your sleep.

I absolutely adored this article. Short, sweet, and to the point over a topic that burdens all High School Students, and provides them a way to destress that burden, is automatically a 10/10 in my book. Also all of these ways are simple and easy which provides a sense of “Oh yeah, I could do this easily.” I may actually try some of these tactics, for I am a fellow ‘High School Stresser’, and since you added in specific examples from other scientific resources, it makes it all the better!
