Kids’ choice rules
One decision affects the United States (U.S.) for at least four years; the U.S. stance on foreign immigration, the country’s economy and equal rights laws will be reformed. For most, the election sounds like a bad dad joke no one laughs at, but the way children view the presidential candidates will continue to be a source of laughter.
Local Lewis Center children were asked how they felt about presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. Here are their responses:
“Donald Trump is crazy,” Justin S. age 9 said.
“Donald Trump is not good,” Erin S. age 9 said.
“Hillary Clinton should be in prison,” Kaitlyn E. age 11.
“All I know is both presidents are bad; Hillary lies and Trump is mean,” Rylan R. age 7 said.
“Donald Trump has weird hair,” Isabella W. age 11 said.
“Donald Trump is rude, but he isn’t a democrat like Hillary,” Willem F. age 10 said.
“Sometimes when I get mad, I’ll kick a Trump sign on my street,” Austin C. age 10 said.
